What are Dry Transfer Decals?
A custom dry transfer/rub‐on transfer is a semi‐permanent decal that can be applied quickly and effortlessly to nearly all smooth, dry indoor surfaces. We create them with a special ink, backed with adhesive and delivered on a transfer slick used to rub them off in a single, quick step. The image can be "transferred" onto wood, metal, glass, plastic, walls, or paper. You may see people use several names for our product, and they all refer to the same great solution.

Museum and Gallery Labelsare Our Specialties
Rub‐down custom lettering looks perfect as museum and gallery labels to caption artwork. They produce superior wall labels both in appearance and ease of application. The art world's preferred white‐cube environment places every detail in the spotlight, requiring lettering that works perfectly every time and has a durable, precise look.
Transfer decals as museum wall labels also gives curators peace of mind, knowing they control the content and appearance — we create exhibit captions directly from client‐supplied digital files. Applying lettering on walls is convenient because each transfer sheet contains a text block. It's a vast improvement from earlier methods that required letters to be applied individually. Some of our museum and gallery clients have successfully (and beautifully) applied extensive introductory text to gallery entrance walls.
It helps explain why art gallery and museum wall labels are among the fastest‐growing uses for this technology —and why reactions and reviews have been so favorable for those projects already completed.

Custom pressure transfers are the gold standard for adding lettering, logos, and other graphic elements to product prototypes, package designs, and comps. They work equally well on items that are 3Dprinted or molded and are perfect for use as labels on jars, cans, bottles, and tubes. You can count on an easy‐to‐apply decal with an outstanding finished result. The process is straightforward to complete.
Recent clients have also included vintners who need high‐quality labels to customize their sample wine bottles. Even in the automotive restoration and boutique aircraft industries, dry transfer decals can be used to sample a wide range of objects, such as the faces of analog gauges and speedometers.
Custom guitar makers add rub‐downs to give their instruments a professional appearance. Dry transfer technology means the decal is fully customizable and will appear as if printed directly on nearly any plastic, glass, wood, or metal object. Since the adhesive is used only on the image area, it will look like your artwork is printed on the surface you apply it to with no adhesive residue after application.
